Schools in the province of Punjab will face some changes in their timings after the summer vacations 2022 are over.

As announced by the Punjab School Education Department, the new school timings will be effective from 1 August onwards. All the schools in the province will follow them.

However, there are slight differences between the timings for boys’ and girls’ schools. The boys’ schools will follow the timings from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Whereas the new timings for girls’ schools will be from 7:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

As far as Fridays are concerned, 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. will be timings followed for boys’ and girls’ schools, respectively.

These timings will be operational till October, after which the winter timings will be followed that will expectedly be effective from 15th October, 2022.
